One year of transforming NSW Government schools

As part of 12 month anniversary of the Commonwealth Government’s Economic Stimulus Plan, Minister for Education and Training Verity Firth and Member for Campbelltown Graham West visited Minto Public School to see the new $2 million hall and covered outdoor learning area, which was completed as part of the Building the Education Revolution.
This is just one of the 4,700 projects being undertaken to provide new classrooms, libraries, halls, covered outdoor learning areas, science labs and fresh paint at more than 2,000 NSW public schools. The program is also supporting an estimated 15,000 full-time equivalent jobs per annum.
“Almost half of all our education stimulus projects have been completed in record time,” Ms Firth said.
