Positive Outcomes for BER

A survey of school Principals has found that the Building the Education Revolution (BER) delivered great outcomes for students, teachers and school communities.

To measure the true outcome of the BER in NSW, the BER Program Office undertook a survey of a cross section of schools who received funding under the program. Some key findings were that:

91% of principals felt that the new P21 facilities had improved educational outcomes for students.

95% of principals made positive comments concerning the importance of the project in terms of day to day school operations.
91% of principals believed the buildings functioned well as an educational space.

Bradfordville’s BER Bake-Off

When Principal of Bradfordville Public School, Eric Patatoukis, was told he would get a ribbon at his recognition ceremony, he jokingly asked his School Administration Manager, Di Charnock and School Administration Officer, Regina Munro, whether they could bake a cake.

Not only did they bake a cake, they created a replica of one of Bradfordville Public School’s Building the Education Revolution (BER) projects!

There is certainly some untapped talent in Goulburn if this is any guide…
